Marti Witchly climbed the steps to the owlery with her letter in her hand. She walked through the door and called down her brown barn owl named Scarlett. Scarlett flew down onto her arm and held out her leg. Marti tied it to her leg and sent the owl off. Marti walked to the window and watched as the owl flew through the air to her parents cottage. Marti turned back towards the door and watching where she was stepping, carefully walked back out the door and down the steps.

Delta walked swiftly up the steps the owlery, her boots gave away her presence long before she reached the top. In her right-gloved hand she held a letter with a blood red seal over the opening.
It was a rather chilly morning and Delta pulled her cloak closer to her she had a coy smile on her face, it however disappeared quickly and was replaced by a look of contempt as she eyed the student stood before her. It was common knowledge Delta loathed the students especially those who weren’t in her house. She stood blocking the steps down to the grounds her arms folded and her dark brown eyes narrowed as she surveyed the child.

Marti looked up into Delta's dark brown eyes as they started to narrow. She looked back down feeling uncomfortable. "I'm so sorry Professor, am I in your way?" she asked feeling her age of 11. She quickly moved before the Professor could answer her. "I'll be leaving now" she said quietly as she quickly went out the door and back down the stairs. As she walked quickly toward her house she shivered and was quite glad when she found herself safely back in her common room. As she sat down in one of the chairs by the fire she thought of the Professor with the narrowed dark brown eyes and thank god in heaven that she wasn't in the Professors house.

Delta rolled her eyes at the child as she quickly moved and disappeared down the steps, children…she thought who’d have them?
She made her way to the top of the tower and entered the owerly, the stone floor was covered in fresh straw and the owls of different breeds swooped around the tall stone tower. Delta whistled and waited impatiently for her owl to fly down to her.
The large snowy owl landed in front of her and clicked its teeth disapprovingly at her, She rolled her eyes again “don’t give me that” she said “I need this letter delivered quickly” she said waving the paper in the owls face.

Lark hurried himself up the stairs to the looming Owlery, several pieces of parchment in hand. I told Mother I'd have these sent yesterday, he grumbled silently. He stopped climbing for a moment, and stared out at the scenery beyond the tower. There was a light fog hovering above the dense forests surrounding the school. He could barely see the sun behind all of the clouds, but there was still a decent amount of light seeping through the cracks. Pretty. He could hear a group of students acting like fools somewhere below him near the border. He muttered some profanity at them, even though he didn't know who they actually were, and continued at his hurried pace to the owls.
When he reached the top, a young girl, a First-Year, ran past him. Then he heard a familiar voice further up--belonging to a certain Professor Delta Le Stuart, his Headmistress. Having his mood brightened, he briskly entered the room. "Hello Professor!" he greeted, a warm smile upon his face. "I didn't expect to see you up here." He whistled for his owl, a puny Horned Owl, named Ganney, who excitedly embraced her master.
{OOC--sorry for shortness, and I'll try to sneak online at the library or school to reply ^^ }

Delta attached her piece of parchment to the owls out stretched claw “Bring me back a reply too!” she said firmly “Don’t come back without one” the large owl hooted and disappeared out of one of the high arched windows.
She watched it for a minute before she heard a voice from behind her greeting her, she turned on her heel and looked to see which student was bothering her now. She was, however surprised it was a well-known fact that she faveourtised students in her own house and a smile spread across her stony looking face.
“Hello Lark” she said “Just delivering a letter” she said nodding towards the shape of the owl in the distance. “Are you taking my class this year?” she inquired folding her arms and surveying the boy.
