Name Lark Reeft
Age Seventeen
Year Sixth
Appearance
His face is one that could make any person swoon. The bone structure itself is an example of perfection; an adorable oval face with a straight nose. The irises of his gentle eyes are the color of sunflowers in midday light, with a hint of a murky green around the edges. They twinkled even when the clouds masked the sun. His eyelashes are long, his hair even longer--near to mid back length, and of a rich wine-red hue. They are fashioned in dreadlocks, and are tied back to keep them from hiding his face. The tone of his flesh is slightly tanned and freckled. His attire is fairly simple, mostly of gray shades, somewhat faded, in accordance with his family's weary financial status. But they were not tattered to the point of resembling rags just yet.

Blood Pure
History
Born to a humble couple of pure wizards' blood on either side, Lark was drawn into the world of magic. Luckily for his parents, he possessed the magical abilities. However, they were a poor family, living in a shambled shanty on the edge of a village. His father was a stablehand, his mother a seamstress. Their combined income barely made them through the year--it was especially difficult during the winter. Lark struggled socially, for he had few friends and none of which he could trust with sharing his abilities. Thus, he wandered through the village with maybe one or two eager faces to greet him, but rarely had they offered an invitation to a game of catch or tag. Because of this, he spent a large amount of time learning magic from his father when he didn't have to work. Sometimes, Lark would accompany his father to the barns and they would scare the pigs or chickens--nothing harmful, of course. this resulted in a strong bond between father and son, and with his mother as well.
When he learned of the existence of a school for children like him and his family, he pleaded with his parents to permit his attendance of the school. Graciously, they allowed it, and Lark left the small village for Salem. In his more intense studies, it was discovered that Lark was determined to become a great wizard, but lacked that essential key factor and skill that would enable him to be considered a genius. However, he refused to give up on his studies. Instead he pursued his goals with even more intent, even when he failed to master classes dealing with potions or herbology. He especially found obstacles in the class of Divination. Now, in is his sixth year attending, he has even more determination, and has even acquired some very useful skills.
Personality
As mentioned above, Lark is somewhat of a loner, usually not by choice though. He tries to make friends, but seems to be caught up in his room with a book until a queer hour, and so loses any opportunities to make lasting friendships. Despite his facade of a bookworm, he is quite lax about every other aspect of his life. In actuality, he only retreats to a book if he can't find the elucidation to his problems on his own. He's very optimistic though, and has a fine sense of humor. Unfortunately, he has become a glutton as an added bonus to his horrible studying habits. He tends to devour pounds of food each night when he studies. At least it's healthy...? He may not have had any time to meet any nice young girls to converse with, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been looking. Yes, the already socially awkward boy is also a pervert. More of a lustfiend that would probably follow any girlfriend he had around like a sick puppy. Lastly, he overreacts dramatically to the smallest of problems. And his head is too far up his arse to deal with it properly, and thus turns it into a chaotic event. He's a very odd child.
